– Eliza Venuh
The bird and the fish may
indeed fall in love,
But where shall they live?
In skies of blue, the bird would
soar,
While in the depths, the fish
would explore.
Their worlds apart, yet hearts
entwined,
In love’s sweet bond, their
souls aligned.
But where to build their nest,
their home?
In coral reefs, or clouds to
roam?
The bird’s wings weary of
ocean’s might,
The fish’s fins falter in
morning light.
Their love – a flame that burns
so bright,
Yet flickers still in endless
night.
For in two worlds, they
cannot reside,
Their love – a bridge that
cannot be divided.
Still they’ll cherish each
fleeting glance,
Each whispered promise, in a
secret dance.
For love’s pure magic knows
no bounds –
Though worlds apart, their
hearts resound.
