Is there a place that I could live in?
Why is the place I once called home becoming hell?
People, people, and people.
Lies, deception, and corruption.
Scary, isn’t it?
Slowly, it is becoming our graveyard.
We are alive and breathing just fine,
but are we really living?
Lost souls,
or just souls lost on the way
to finding a place to belong?
My future was not promised to me like this.
The things she once dreamt of—
are they coming to an end
before they have even begun?
People, people, and people.
Famines, massacres, and now war.
Why can’t we live in peace and unity?
Why is there bloodshed
over things that could be settled with words?
The bright and colorful life
that I once knew
is turning sinister.
Let this place not become
a home of suffering.
Let it be a place of happily ever after.
Let children, women, and men live.
Just let humans live happily.
Oh, my heart bleeds
to see this place become like this.
It scares me to death.
I beg you, my dear people,
let this place I call home
be home to one and all,
not a fatal land
where peace cannot survive.
Life is much more than this.
I believe.
Humanity is dying.
Humans are dying.
But the little goodness still within us—
let us not let that die.
Be kind and do kind,
because kindness will never fail you.
My dear people,
flowers shall bloom in the graveyard.
Peace and happiness shall prevail once again.
Humanity may awaken in all of us once more.
For this is what we can offer—
a better place for you and me to live in.
